Always Running is a personal running coach and cross country coach service offering individualized training programs, group runs, and strength training, tailored to your lifestyle.  

 

With Always Running, adults can learn to run, run a marathon or just run to improve your health and fitness.  We work with kids who want to get active, improve cross country running or run a race. As a personal trainer, we work all ages and all fitness levels from beginners to elite athletes.

High School Program

Always Running is here to fill the gap for high school runners who are not getting the one-on-one attention in order to meet their training needs and improve.  Most high school teams are understaffed and or have too many participants for a coach to handle and some have coaches that are too inexperienced.  Coach Tony is an adviser to the family on the how and what their child needs and can do to improve.  This program is designed to not just educate the runner but also the parents on the sport of cross country.

Summer Cross Country Camp

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays

7am-10am

Summer training camp runs from June 15th to August 15th, to avoid the traditional injury prone models of intense 7 to 10 days cross country camp. Our kids get more one on one coach time to learn about training theory, workout planning, navigation & safety education for running trails. Summer camp is utilized to build the base that is needed to complete a successful and injury free fall cross country season.

Fall Cross Country Monitoring

Garmin Connect

Attend 4 races

Coach Tony will monitor the kid’s workouts and racing via Garmin Connect and attend 4 races as they run cross country for their high school. The Fall Monitoring Program is a prerequisite to participate in Winter Training.

 

We will assist parents with understanding their child's training and race preparation needs during the season and help parents and family members understand best way to view races.

Winter Training

Monday & Wednesday 5pm & Saturday 8am

Winter Training delivers more training for a targeted goal and understanding the why behind the training. We focus more on core work, balance training, how to dress and train in the cold, damp snowy weather in the Pacific Northwest; while still getting in a great base of training that will prepare them for spring track.

Spring Track Monitoring

Coach Tony will monitor the kid’s workouts and racing via Garmin Connect and attend 4 races as they run cross country for their high school. Spring Track Monitoring is a prerequisite to participate in Summer Cross Country Camp (unless you join during summer).

 

We will assist parents with understanding their child's training and race preparation needs during the season and help parents and family members understand best way to view races and assist with timing and splits.
