We offer a variety of customized programs at Always Running to help our clients reach their individual goals. Goals range from running a mile without stopping to climbing Mt. Rainier to losing 10 pounds to riding the STP in one day. Specialized programs are based on your lifestyle, current fitness level, injury history and specific goals. These programs incorporate group workouts, private coaching sessions, pre-race training and educational seminars to further enrich your training experience. Throughout the training, your progress, bio-mechanical form, mental stamina, cardiovascular strength and development are continually monitored. This allows Always Running coaches to fine tune your workouts and give you the perfect balance of challenge and fun! Our programs start with a minimum 3-month commitment based on our firm belief that it takes a minimum of 8-12 weeks to see significant improvement. We set this minimum standard seeking clients who have made a commitment to themselves which, likewise, matches our commitment. Our programs utilize running as the common denominator. The level at which someone runs depends on their goals, current condition and level of fitness. Running is supported by cross training on low impact cardio equipment including the recumbent bike and elliptical machine, and strength training. Running is also supplemented by other outdoor activities such as biking and hiking. Our programs also include heart-rate education to aid the client's understanding of his/her body and its capabilities. Eighty percent of our clients fall in the category of wanting overall general fitness, which is mainly supported by running. |
